Everything good except when opened

"Everything good except when opened pkg. (plastic bag), VERY strong petroleum smell (silicone?) Caused immediate coughing and asthma reaction. Suds out 3X and still odor in laundry rm. after hung to dry. Wore anyway. Eventually odor gone. This has not been a problem with other prs. Called Mediven to explain. Rep said shouldn't happen."
